Privacy & Cookie Notice

What data we collect, what we use it for and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: September 2026

This notice explains which personal data we collect through dopamineglobalexperience.com and our contact channels, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is issued under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and, for visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

Nicolas David Gomez, trading as Dopamine Global Experience and Mexplorer (“DGE/Mexplorer”), located at Lago 26, Supermanzana 64, Bahía Azul, C.P. 77500, Cancún, Quintana Roo, México, is the controller of your personal data.

Privacy contact: mexplorer.ok@gmail.com · WhatsApp +52 998 156 8161.

2. Data we collect

“Plan Your Experience” form: full name, WhatsApp or phone number, destination, approximate date, number of guests and type of experience (required); email, approximate budget and additional details (optional). The site language and the page the form was sent from are recorded with it.

WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons and each yacht’s form open WhatsApp with a pre-written message (yacht, destination, date, group size, occasion, name, notes and the page address). The site does not store this data: you send it through WhatsApp, and the messaging service is governed by WhatsApp’s (Meta) policies.

Bookings: the data you share with us on WhatsApp or by email to confirm a service, such as guest names and any condition we need to know to deliver the service safely.

Payments: we accept cash, bank transfer and debit and credit cards. The website does not process payments or store card details. Transfers and card payments involve the relevant banks and payment processors, which handle that data under their own policies; we only keep what is needed to identify and reconcile the payment (for example, the receipt).

Offers: if you tick the optional box in our forms or ask us on WhatsApp or by email, we record that you agree to receive offers.

Browsing: pages visited, clicks on contact buttons, searches and filters used, device and browser type, and approximate location, through Google Analytics as explained in the cookies section.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data on the site. If you tell us about a health condition for safety reasons, we will use it only for that purpose and share it only with the operator delivering the service.

3. How we use your data

Purposes necessary to handle your request and our relationship:

  • Replying to your requests and sending you options and quotes.
  • Confirming availability, final price and conditions.
  • Managing bookings, payments, changes and cancellations.
  • Coordinating the service with independent operators and providers.
  • Supporting you before, during and after the experience.
  • Handling incidents, queries and payment disputes.
  • Complying with legal obligations.

Additional purposes, not needed to deliver the service:

  • Sending you offers, news and promotions about our experiences by email or WhatsApp, only if you agree by ticking the optional box in our forms or asking us. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “STOP” to any of those messages or by emailing us.
  • Statistical analysis of how the site is used, to improve it. You can refuse by rejecting analytics cookies from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.

Refusing these additional purposes does not affect your requests or bookings.

4. Who we share your data with

  • Independent operators and providers of the service you request or book (for example, yachts, villas or transport), to the extent needed to confirm and deliver it.
  • Technology providers processing data on our behalf: Hostinger (website hosting and form delivery), Google (email and Google Analytics) and WhatsApp/Meta (messaging). Some operate outside Mexico, for example in the United States.
  • Banks and payment processors, when you pay by transfer or card.
  • Authorities, when required by law or a competent order.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by legal, tax or claim-defence obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights under Mexican law), and withdraw your consent or limit how your data is used.

To do so, email mexplorer.ok@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy rights”, stating your name, a contact method, the right you want to exercise and the data concerned, and attach an ID (or proof of representation if someone acts on your behalf). For a rectification, include the correct information. We will reply through the same channel within the legal deadlines.

7. Visitors from the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

We process your data on these legal bases: pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (requests, quotes and bookings), your consent (analytics cookies and marketing messages), our legitimate interest (site security and fraud prevention) and compliance with legal obligations.

In addition to the rights above, you have the right to erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your country’s data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

The controller is in Mexico and some providers are in the United States, so your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on the safeguards offered by each provider, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
